NATA: North Argyll Trail Association

With its undulating terrain and vast green landscape, North Argyll seems like the ideal location for mountain biking. Unfortunately, trails are not well documented, maintained or accessible for those that want to get into biking. North Argyll Trail Association are about changing that - bringing together a community of bikers who want to grow the mountain biking scene in our area. NATA work in collaboration with Adventure Oban, thanks to our shared interest of getting more people in the outdoors!

So far we’ve been working on trails at Ganavan, Ben Lora and Glencruitten Woods, with kind permission from their landowners. Building good relationships with landowners is an integral part of ensuring we can continue our work in making trails rideable for all in Oban.

Get involved!

If you would like to join in on one of our dig days (Sunday mornings and midge-less evenings), keep an eye on our socials or get in touch to be added to our WhatsApp group! Send an email to Hannah at hannah@adventureoban.org to find out more and chat all things bike. We’d love to have you join the community and have your say in what trails we work on next.

We are delighted to be working with Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland and access their expert advice and support on building trails at the right place, built and managed by the right people. We would love to see Oban become more of a destination for epic riding for all. Thanks to them we have a contribution from the Scottish Trail Fund and are looking to further develop our local trail network with the community.
